Joel Bryant

Joel was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and started pursuing acting and standup comedy work in his high school years. He attended Pepperdine University and graduated with a Theatre Arts and Telecommunications degree. Out of college, he plied his craft in TV, film and theatre and began DJing on the weekends as well as studying improv at The Groundlings and taking the stage at some iconic comedy clubs (Comedy Store, Improv, Laugh Factory). He discovered live event hosting when an event planner asked if he could MC an event. “Sure!” He then discovered hosting live events combines all of the skills he had been training in his whole life. Since then, his Hosting has literally taken him around the world, from private cruise ships in the South China Sea to the Seine in Paris to the beaches of Cancun, military bases in the Middle East and all across the US. He has hosted for private parties or huge gatherings of Fortune 500 companies. Any event you can name, he’s hosted it: Awards galas, charity auctions, team-building, beach games, game shows, sporting events, pep rallies, multi-day conference, incentive trips and even Drag Queen Bingo (with a drag queen, of course). His energy could be felt at the last 6 Super Bowls, CES booths and European festivals. Some clients who have used his services include Google, Apple, Delta, Nestle, Southwest, Protiviti, McKinsey, Facebook and many, many others. He’s known for his energy, his ability to roll with a live event and his humor, which he maintains on- and off-stage. If you’re not having fun, then what’s the point?
